To celebrate graduating college my boyfriend, Justin, and I planned a cruise to the Bahamas! We decided to wait on the trip until we were all moved into to Florida because it would be easier to take a cruise out of somewhere we live rather than fly somewhere!

We did a shorter cruise that only made two stops. Our first stop was Freeport and then the next day we went to Nassau.

 In Freeport we wish we would have gone to a different beach than the one we did but we still loved it and had a great time! We went to Junkanoo beach club at Tiano Beach. It was only a $7 cab ride from the ship harbor where we docked. We payed three dollars to get in and it gave us a rental like a kayak or something which we actually forgot to use unfortunately. The water in Freeport was more like water in Florida. It was really nice but it wasn't very clear and blue as you can see in the pictures. It was definitely warm though so it was really nice to get in. The sand was PERFECT though. It was the finest sand I'd ever seen.








On our second stop in Nassau we took a cab to paradise island (only a $4 cab ride) and went to Cabbage beach. It was the nicest beach I had ever been to. The white sands and the clearest bluest water I had ever seen. I seriously could have stayed there forever! It was so beautiful. We had a lot of fun hanging out in the water, doing some snorkeling, and just relaxing on the beach. They also sold these coconut drinks which were so good! They were $20 but you got unlimited free refills the entire day! They had different juice flavors like Bahama mamma, pina colada, etc. you could mix with the alchohol. It was one of the better purchases we made so if you are 21+ I would definitely recommend doing that if you go to cabbage beach! I think it's safe to say that everyone with a coconut was pretty tipsy by the end of the day!

My mom and I spent a weekend in Seattle this past month for a girls trip. We had so much fun, we did a lot of touristy things since I had never been to Seattle so we stayed very busy.

The first day in Seattle we started out at the Space Needle where every other tourist in the city apparently started out as well. It was crazy packed but we still had a great time. The view from the top is amazing! After we were up there for a little while we headed over to the Chihuly Glass Museum which is something I would REALLY recommend if you ever go to Seattle! It was incredible how much stuff was in there and it was all so beautiful. His work is amazing!

We then took the Monorail down to Pike Market Place. It was insanely busy but we ate at a great cafe and then went through the entire Farmers Market. I am now OBSESSED with Ellenos Greek Yogurt. It is the best stuff on earth I swear. I have been craving it ever since I got back. You don't know greek yogurt until you have tried Ellenos! I got the berry cobbler flavor and it was so good! I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Afterwards we just walked down by the water and the pier where the ferris wheel is. We then went over towards where the monorail was and did some shopping and grabbed some dinner at PF Chang's (my favorite restaurant ever).

The next day was Ikea day because we don't have an Ikea where we live and I am obsessed with it. We spent a ton of time there and we got some great things. After that we drove down to Tacoma to see the glass bridge and just walk around a bit. Then we took a ferry back into Seattle. Taking a Ferry was one of my favorite things we did, I'm not sure why, maybe it's because of Derek and Grey's Anatomy, but I know have a major obsession with ferries.

The last day in Seattle we drove out to see Snoqualmie Falls. There we took a little hike down to the base and also viewed it from the top viewing deck. Afterwards we did a little shopping. We then went back into Seattle to look at the Freemont Troll and stop by Gas Works Park which has an AMAZING view! Sadly I didn't take any pictures because at that point in our trip I was tired of getting my camera out (lazy) but the view of Seattle was really pretty. To end our trip we met up with one of our friends from Seattle and had dinner with her which was a great way to end an amazing trip!

So this post is a little bit late considering Justin and I took this trip in March for spring break... Ooops! Better late than never! I love traveling so I really wanted to be able to document my travels on my blog. That was the intention of my "explore" part of my blog. Since I haven't been able to travel too much lately it has kind of turned into a lifestyle section of my blog. So here is my first travel document so far.









We stopped to eat at Boudine. Justin got the Clam Chowder and I got the Chili. They both came in bread bowls which were SO good!


Had to get a picture with Ghirardelli Square behind us, which I wish we would have actually gone to.

 On our walk to Fishermans Warf we came across this funny man who would jump out and scare people. It was pretty hilarious














If you are ever in San Francisco I would recommend stopping by the Palace of Fine Arts. The architecture and area of this was gorgeous and it was really fun to walk through!
